숭실은 역사적 도전과 고난을 통해 성장해 왔습니다. 도전과 신념으로 풍성한 열매를 맺는 숭실은 도전과 고난 속에서 성장해 왔습니다. 일제의 신사참배 강요 거부와 자진 폐교는 기독교 정체성을 지키기 위한 숭실의 강력한 의지였고, 한국 전쟁 후 서울 캠퍼스 재건은 숭실의 역사를 이어가기 위한 선배들의 노력의 결실이었습니다. 이처럼 수많은 고난과 역경 속에서도 숭실은 항상 시대의 변화에 발맞춰 인재육성에 대한 사명을 다하였습니다. 그 결실로 우리에겐 자랑스러운 90여 명의 독립 유공자를 배출하였으며, 1954년 서울 캠퍼스 재건 이후 IT, 중소기업, 노사관계, 사회복지, 통일 분야 등에서 우리나라의 대학교육을 선도해 왔습니다. 이러한 발전의 중심에는 베어드 선교사의 비전과 믿음, 그리고 헌신이 뿌리내리고 있었습니다. 1897년 숭실학당의 설립은 단순한 역사적 사건이 아니라, 하나님의 은혜와 섭리의 산물이었습니다. 이에 더하여 숭실 가족 여러분의 ‘사랑과 헌신’, 전임 총장님과 이사장님들의 섬김의 리더십이 오늘날의 숭실을 이끌었습니다. 저는 이 영광스러운 숭실의 역사를 계승하며, ‘기독교 정체성 강화’와 ‘숭실의 재도약’이라는 중대한 책무를 수행하기 위해 이 자리에 섰습니다.

· Level 1 (Beginner)

Students can perform basic survival language tasks, such as introducing themselves, shopping, and ordering food. They can understand and express personal topics like themselves, family, hobbies, and the weather, using about 800 basic words and fundamental grammar. They are also able to read and write simple practical texts.

· Level 2 (Elementary)

· Level 3 (Intermediate)

Students can manage daily life without significant difficulty and use basic language functions needed for social interactions and public facilities. They can understand and express familiar and concrete topics in paragraph form and differentiate between spoken and written language.

· Level 4 (Upper-Intermediate)

Students can handle social and work-related situations, understand news or newspaper articles on simple topics, and express themselves accurately and fluently on general social and abstract subjects. They are familiar with common idioms and key aspects of Korean culture, enabling them to understand cultural and social content.

· Level 5 (Advanced)
